Will Newman grew up in Oxford and is an Oxford High School alumnus where he graduated in 2007. Will’s practice focuses on civil litigation and he is admitted to practice in all Alabama state courts and all of the United States District Courts for the District of Alabama. Before joining Enzor & Maniscalco, Will worked for a respected insurance defense firm in Birmingham, Alabama where he worked defending construction defect, premises liability, products liability, and personal injury claims.
Will received his law degree from the Cumberland School of law where he received a merit scholarship. During law school, he clerked for Judge Madeline H. Haikala, a United States District Court Judge for the Northern District of Alabama; the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office; and the Calhoun County District Attorney’s Office. Will used his 3L practice card in multiple jury trials while working at the Calhoun County District Attorney’s Office and the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office. Will graduated in the top 21% of his class at Cumberland and received two scholar of merit awards for receiving the highest grades in Mergers and Acquisitions as well as Topics in Professional Responsibility. Before attending Cumberland, Will recieved his undergraduate degree in Finance from Auburn University.
While not working, Will enjoys spending as much time as he can outdoors hunting as well as going to Auburn football games. He has also had a life-long interest in real estate and construction.
