Nathan is a firm associate with a practice focus in disability law, employment law, and criminal law. Joining the firm in November of 2015, he has quickly found his niche in Oxford providing bothcompassionate and zealous legal counsel for his clients. With extensive litigation and trial experience, he recognizes the uniqueness of each case. Whether dealing with overtime violations, unjust disability denial, or criminal defense, Nathan is willing and able to put in the time and intellectual effort to tackle even the most complicated of cases. Aside from the local district and circuit courts, Nathan is also licensed to practice in the federal courts for the Northern District of Alabama.
Prior to joining the firm, Nathan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama and immediately enrolled in UA's law school. He served twice in the Domestic Violence Law Clinic, where he developed his passion for working with victims of abuse, and honed his talent for in-court advocacy. His dedication to his clients earned him an award for the top clinical student at the University of Alabama School of Law for the Spring 2014 semester.
Nathan also brings experience in criminal defense, having previously served as a public defender in the City of Huntsville Municipal Court.
Nathan is a certified Guardian ad Litem, enjoying the privilege to advocate for minor children and persons with disabilities. Finally, Nathan is an Eagle Scout and proudly applies the values of Scouting (kindness, bravery, and helpfulness) to his present professional duties as an attorney. Facing new legal questions and challenges each day, Nathan feels privileged to serve his community.
